I’ve been thinking about this today and I have some self care homework for at least 24 hours (ideally a month, but let’s start easy).
Every time you walk past a mirror you give yourself a compliment. I am beautiful is brilliant. I love my body. I am kind. I am generous. I am loving. I love my eyes, or my smile lights up my face, my hair looks gorgeous. I am looking great today. Whatever you choose. Using I am is best, but work with what you can. No wrong way. Affirmations work!
When you introduce a mirror they get even more powerful. Look at yourself when you say it. Notice how your inner self feels as you show yourself some compassion. Nurture YOU feed yourself kindness. Some people might find it a little hard at first, I know I did years ago. It gets easier, trust me and the benefits are amazing.
